Motivation fuels everything that you do. It makes you move aggressively towards your goal. You will do whatever it takes to achieve something that is on your mind when you are motivated. The lack of motivation can make your job a living hell on earth. Every task is more difficult. You become so bored at work and at home. it takes a toll on your health and self esteem. Motivation is very important, just as air is important to a rubber balloon, a wind to a wind turbine. Where do you source out your motivation. It will really help, if you take on a job that you are passionate with. There is no greater reward to a musician than to be able to play his instrument. Jobs will certainly be done quicker and almost perfectly. But what if we are assigned a task that we almost hate to do? Don’t fret. You still can get your motivation from that unfortunate circumstance by looking for other benefits that you will be able to arrive at when you do the unwanted task. Simply put, look for a good thing that you can get from the job that you are performing. And lastly, you can motivate yourself by thinking of your personal development. What you will learn and experience while doing the work or task? Learning to take one step at a time and accepting the fact that you cannot build a house in one day. You must set milestones along the way. A proper balance between social life and work can bring out a source for your motivation. The people that you interact outside the work area may be the ones who will motivate you to do your job more. In essence, you can find your source of motivation everywhere. Its really everywhere. You’ll just have to take the time to listen and look for them. While you’re at it. Do not ever forget to ask for help fromt he higher power, if you know what i mean.

Make two pages, do not make ten

A lot of research has been undertken on how many pages an ideal CV should have. The results? All evidence show that the perfect number of pages should be 2. In two pages, one gets the balance between not boring the reader with so many details and just giving the right amount of information and ensure that the client or recruiter gets the amount and type of information that he or she wants. Younr CV should not be to long. It should not be too short just the same.

Look at it this way, think about the difference between a “brochure copy” and an “advertising copy”. Brochure copy would allow the client in an instant to decide on the spot of you are the right candidate even if he or she does not see you. An advertising copy gives away just enough or even little information to tease and to make sure that they call you in for an interview to find out more about you.

Among the manager’s responsibilities is inspiring staff and encouraging them to strive for excellence, at the same time stay beng prodictive even if times are difficult in the office. This is really challenging, but steps can be taken to generate enthusiasm in the business environment.

Motivation should be able to relate to individual needs. Example, if a staff member who is enjoying collaboration with others are recognized and appreciated for their their contributions. You do not have to spend on costly awards. Some ideas that do ot cost much are parking spots at the end of te month, or an occasional long lunch, a short weekday or giving away movie passes. They are not costly but they have an impact.

Make sure your CV is irresistible and outstanding.

Think about this: Your CV can be your best friend. On the other hand, it can be your worst enemy.

Spend time on getting it right, in doing it right. Most companies spend a lot of money, even millions of dollars on packaging so that they can try and tempt you to buy their products in the supermarkets.

In the same way, make sure your CV will do the same for you. Make sure that when you present your CV it will sell.
