The skills required in an accounting job are not so high. You only need computer and analytical skills to be able to make it big. If you compare it to other professions, almost all would require you to have the same technology skills and attention to detail.
In accounting, however, you do not need to socialize with many people. You also do not need a lot of innovation and creativity, as the work that you do should follow a strict rule or guideline. You just have to prepare yourself to work in a self-pressured environment. If you can provide quality work and adhere to the deadline set by your boss or client, you can succeed.
