If you want to become a CPA, you have to remember that each state has different licensing requirements. Although most of the states will require a completion of 150 hours in the course before you can take a CPA exam, a few states don’t have this kind of requirement. But by the beginning of 2009, there will be 42 states that already implement this prerequisite according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, U.S. Department of Labor, and Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Because of this, most of the universities and colleges do offer a bachelor program that requires you to go through 150 hours to complete the course. So if you are enrolling in a degree program whether physically or online, you have to ensure that your program provides you with enough instructions to last for 150 hours.
